Workbooks in Obvious now support up to 500,000 rows — up from the previous limit of 100,000. Performance is unchanged. If your work lives in large datasets, this is for you.
This was the most common request we heard from analysts and operators using Obvious for data-heavy work. The 100,000-row limit was a practical ceiling that was creating real friction for teams working with event logs, transaction data, or large inventory datasets.
The 500,000-row limit applies to all workbooks in all Obvious plans. We've also improved scroll and render performance for large sheets, which should be noticeable when working with anything above 50,000 rows.
We're continuing to work on workbook performance and plan to raise this limit further later this year.
