We've spent the last eight months in closed beta with a few hundred teams — analysts, designers, operators, researchers, founders — who've been using Obvious for real work and telling us what works and what doesn't. We've rebuilt the agent architecture twice, rewired the workbook engine, and shipped more than 200 improvements based on feedback from that group.
What we're launching into public beta: a full workspace with documents, workbooks, and an agent that can work across both. Persistent memory (rolling out now). Folios for publishing. Canvas for getting a visual overview of your project. And the beginning of a skills library that lets the agent take on more complex tasks.
What's still ahead: more workbook capabilities, deeper agent integrations, team features, and the Makers Program. We'll be moving fast.
