Concept Testing Research Plan Template
Most concept testing ends with "users liked it" or "users were confused" — and no one knows what to do next. This template structures the full concept testing process: defining a hypothesis before the study, building a session guide that separates comprehension from usability, and scoring each participant on both dimensions so findings aggregate cleanly. Built from the Niagahoster concept testing methodology, it combines concept testing (does the user understand what this is?) and usability testing (can they complete the core task?) in a single research plan — so one participant set produces both strategic and tactical findings. For UX researchers and PMs at Series A–C companies who need validated research findings before committing development resources.
